Challenge: Quote
May. 14th, 2007 02:01 pmAll right, I just ran into this one over on today's Something Positive, one of my favorite web comics. R.K. Milholland, the artist/writer, puts a quote at the end of every comic, right below the frame -- he's just making them up but they're usually pretty good. This one struck me as a perfect jumping-off point for a fanfic:
Challenge:
"Porn ruins lives."
"Sometimes, but never the right ones."
Additional Details: Whatever characters you like, in any fandom. The fic itself doesn't have to be porny. Go for it -- this one is so cynically true that it deserves to be shared with anyone who takes a fancy to it. :D

Blurb: I'm still Angie. [smile/wave] I love webcomics -- there's a huge variety out there and I've got a modest list of comics I read regularly. Milholland stands out in that his comic isn't meant to be ha-ha-humorous most of the time, but rather a very cynical and down-to-earth view of an unfortunately only slightly warped world. He's dealt with some heavy themes and some total crack but through it all he maintains his wit and his knack for storytelling.
And I've always had an issue with people who think things should be banned for someone else's own good, and with victimless crimes in general. Porn in and of itself hurts no one and it pisses me off when people who don't care for it try to ban it just because they personally don't care for it. Asswipes.... [mutter]
